Evaluation of the Spring Seedling Project-Zhaotong Program: A study of a novel continuing medical education program for rural doctors in China.
CONCLUSION: This study introduced an comprehensive form of continuing medical education for rural doctors in Zhaotong and proved the effectiveness of this program and also provided a reference point for the future development of continuing medical education. A modified Delphi study to establish consensus on continuing education requirements for pharmacists' relicensing in Saudi Arabia
CONCLUSIONS: This study used the modified Delphi technique to develop a suggested CPD model for pharmacists' re-registration in Saudi Arabia. Expert panel members reached consensus on shifting from a CME model to a CPD model, increasing CPD credits to 40 per annum and incorporating unplanned CPD activities, while keeping re-registration to every two years.PMID:35993624 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202208_29397

Developing future medical educators in an Australian medical program: supervisors' reflections on the first four years of MD Professional Project implementation.
CONCLUSIONS: Engaging in scholarly activities such the ESME Course and developing learning resources not only provided MD students with a more in-depth theoretical knowledge in a range of clinical areas, but also developed skills that would prepare them for their future roles as medical educators. As supervisors, we identified the value these projects add to the broader health community as well as personal and professional benefits for ourselves. PMID: 32921298 [PubMed - in process]

Translating medical school social missions to student experiences
ConclusionWhether a medical school's social mission is focused on equity of access to the medical profession or on its graduates serving particular community needs, the mission principles need to be translated into practice. This translation process involves a series of externalisation and internalisation steps, each of which determines how much and what aspects of the mission are translated.
